Join the valley's newest community theatre group and put on productions people will never forget.

 

Currently, the BTP accepts actors of all backgrounds and demographics, ages 8 and up. We look forward to collaborating with the best and brightest in the area, whether you're a stage veteran or are just looking for a new experience.

Audition requirements for each show vary based on the needs and content of that show, so scroll down to the show you'd like to audition for, get all the details on that show, and submit your audition reservation. Break a leg!

 

INITIAL AUDITIONS: Saturday, April 21: 9:00 am–12:00N; check-in at 8:30 am
                                 and Tuesday, April 24: 6:00–9:00 pm; check-in at 5:30 pm

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY: Participants must be age 8 and older; participants between ages 8 and 13 must have parents present; participants between ages 14 and 17 must have parents present and/or have in hand parental consent form filled out. All participants must be available for all scheduled rehearsals, meetings, and performances. Due to association with Sanger Unified School District, participants must agree to and pass a background check. 

WHAT YOU NEED: Prepare 32 bars from one song in the spirit of the music of the show. Songs from Guys and Dolls are not recommended. An accompanist will be provided; bring clearly marked sheet music in the same key in which you will be singing. At your own preference, you may provide your own accompanist, but CDs, iPods, etc. with pre-recorded accompaniment will not be accepted. For more information on voice auditions, please read our blog post "How To Succeed In Auditions Without Really Trying." Bringing your own water to drink is recommended. Due to association with Sanger Unified School District, please bring a valid form of ID.

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY: Participants must be between ages 8 and 14; for auditions, participants must have parents present and/or have in hand parental consent form filled out. All participants must be available for all scheduled rehearsals, meetings, and performances.

Music from musical theatre repertoire is strongly encouraged. An accompanist will be provided; bring clearly marked sheet music in the same key in which you will be singing. At your own preference, you may provide your own accompanist, but CDs, iPods, etc. with pre-recorded accompaniment will not be accepted. For more information on voice auditions, please read our blog post "How To Succeed In Auditions Without Really Trying." Dress in comfortable but appropriate attire for dance auditions, including comfortable shoes—jazz shoes are preferred. Bringing your own water to drink is recommended. It is also recommended that participants with long hair tie their hair back.
