The timeless classic about a father trying to balance adhering to his traditions with raising five daughters.
Set in the little village of Anatevka, Russia, just before the Russian Revolution, Fiddler on the Roof centers on Tevye, a poor dairyman, and his wife and five daughters. With the help of a tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill in them his traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia.
